I'm Jojo. I run Adventure Fishing Tours and Jojo Creative Tech out of Southeast Alaska. Over the years, I've gathered a lot of knowledge that most small business owners simply don't have access to.
Dreams are a funny thing — they rarely materialize all at once. Sometimes they take a decade. Blood, Sweat & Creative Tech is a dream like that. It began about ten years ago when I was boat-sitting in La Cruz, Mexico. One afternoon, staring out at the water, I had a sudden, clear realization: I want to make a podcast someday.
That someday took its time arriving. I’ve spent years self-educating on best business practices. Rebuilding websites for small businesses. And helping entrepreneurs sharpen their social media strategy.
But something kept nudging me — this growing sense that the knowledge I'd worked so hard to collect wasn't mine to keep. It belonged out in the world, accessible to other business owners who needed it.
So where does the podcast come in? Well, we're starting with the community first — and letting your needs shape what it becomes.
And here we are. ‘Someday’ has finally arrived. Welcome.

Why This Community Exists

Here's a paradox nobody talks about enough in the creator space: you have to fully embrace your individuality and build a community at the same time. Those two things feel like they pull in opposite directions — but they don't.
There is nobody out there doing exactly what you're doing, exactly the way you're doing it. That's not intimidating. That's your superpower. Whether you're in a completely saturated niche or carving out something totally original, your perspective is the differentiator. Borrowing inspiration from others is great — just run it through your lens before you post it. The internet already has enough copy-paste content!
Living in Alaska, building community online isn't optional for me — it's necessary. But isolation doesn't only happen geographically. If you're a business owner doing your own social media without a strategy or a system, you know this feeling, too. Sometimes isolation is simply being overwhelmed and underprepared.
If any of this sounds familiar, this community is built for you!
What "Blood, Sweat, and Creative Tech" Actually Means

The name isn't just catchy — it's a framework:
Blood — This is your business. Your focus. Where your energy and money flow. We start here, because without clarity on what you're building, no tool or system will save you.
Sweat — These are your systems. The hard, honest work of showing up consistently, refining your process. A strategy that doesn't collapse the moment life gets busy.
Creative Tech — A free and accessible tech stack (plus a few premium tools that are genuinely worth it) designed to help you work smarter. We're covering ClickUp, DaVinci Resolve, Canva, AI tools, and basic SEO. Tools that help you get the right people looking at your content.
And because your reading list is probably longer than your to-do list, I'll do the reading for you! Each week, I’ll share the best of what I'm learning from books and other podcasts along the way. We’ll also feature other businesses that are making things happen using good systems!

You don't need to post every day. And you don't need to pay someone $200–$400 a month to manage your social media. I say that as someone who does social media for other people.
What you need is a clear content universe, a simple system, and the confidence to execute it yourself.
Eight posts a month is the sustainable starting point. It's enough to build a real presence, attract the right audience, and drive business — without burning out.
I learned this by posting every day for 30 days as part of a challenge. What came out of that process wasn't just content — it was clarity. Content pillars. A schedule. A whole framework I now want to hand directly to you.
This is the strategy we'll be covering in our weekly live ‘Work With Me’ sessions! You can sign up here so that you don’t miss a thing.
